Same Press Brake,
Different Tooling

From everyday sheet metal fabrication to demanding industrial components, the right press brake tooling makes bending more accurate, repeatable and efficient.

Different industries have different requirements for material thickness, bend radius, surface quality and part geometry. That is why we provide both standard press brake punches and dies and custom tooling designed around actual production needs.

  • 01

    Material & thickness

Mild steel, stainless, aluminium — thin panels or thick plate decide the die opening and the tool strength.

  • 02

    Bend radius

Sharp inside radius or large radius: the punch tip and radius tools follow your drawing.

  • 03

    Surface quality

Pre-finished, coated or visible parts may need mark-free dies or protective film.

  • 04

    Part geometry

Return flanges, deep boxes, hems and offsets need clearance or special profiles.

Better Bending Quality for Visible Metal Components

Metal furniture manufacturers often work with components where the bend is part of the finished appearance. Uneven angles, surface marks or inconsistent dimensions create problems during assembly and final inspection.

Our press brake tools can be used for cabinets, lockers, shelving systems, tables, storage units, office furniture and display fixtures. For stainless steel, aluminium and coated sheets, tooling can be selected according to the required surface quality and bending profile.

If your design includes narrow flanges, special edges or decorative profiles, custom tooling can be developed around the part drawing to meet both functional and visual requirements.

Consistent 2 mm Stainless Steel Hinge Forming

    Challenge
Form 2 mm stainless steel into a hinge profile with an outer radius of R10 and an inner radius of R8 — with consistent dimensions and a smooth curved surface in batch production.
    Solution
Custom hinge tooling developed around the finished part, controlling the forming progressively; black oxide surface treatment for corrosion protection in storage and daily use.
    Result
After manufacturing and inspection, the die went into production and delivered stable forming in repeated use.

Enough Room for the Next Bend

    Challenge
The bend angle was right, but the partially bent workpiece came too close to — or hit — the conventional upper tool, making the next bends difficult.
    Solution
We reviewed the profile, bending sequence, flange direction and workpiece movement, then designed a punch profile with additional clearance — without losing the strength needed for the bend.
    Result
Fewer workpiece collisions, a smoother bending sequence and less manual correction or secondary processing.

One Punch for Several Sizes of 1 mm Parts

    Challenge
The same 1 mm workpiece in several sizes, plus three other parts — without buying and changing a separate punch for every size.
    Solution
Our engineers studied the drawings and the complete bending sequence, then designed a special upper tool profile with clearance for the different forming positions.
    Result
A wider usable range for one tool: fewer tool changes and easier switching between workpiece dimensions.

    Improvement solution · Hemming die

Lateral Locating Pins for Limited Machine Opening

    Challenge
A conventional hemming die with a high locating structure leaves too little working space on press brakes with limited daylight or stroke.
    Solution
The locating pin moves to the side of the tool, reducing the overall die height while keeping accurate alignment between the mating tools.
    Result
A lower, more compact hemming die that fits a wider range of press brakes — without modifying the machine.

Split-Type Buttons for Safer, Cheaper Shipping

    Challenge
Protruding buttons stop long tools and multi-section orders from stacking closely, wasting crate space and exposing ground surfaces to knocks.
    Solution
A detachable button structure: buttons are removed before shipment so the sections fit together in the wooden case (patented design).
    Result
Less packing volume, better use of container or air-freight space and fewer collisions between precision-ground tools.
